App activity

GROW’s dashboard allows you to measure engagement by observing how often your app is used over time.

The “App Activity” frame helps you quantify the evolution of your user population and their use.

Trackable user VS Logged-in user

In “App Activity”, you can measure the behavioral activity of your user population from two perspectives. A toggle will allow you to switch between those two modes:

  • Trackable user” mode will set “device-centric” analytics. Device-centric means that you consider a one-to-one relation between a user and a device (1 smartphone = 1 user). It is usually the case for applications that do not have a login system.
  • Logged-in user” mode will set “user-centric” analytics. User-centric means that you consider a user’s activity if and only if he is identified (in most cases, it means the user is logged in).
Integration prerequisites: To benefit from “logged-in users” statistics, a user identifier must be tracked!
